EPT
The European Poker Tour, EPT, is a series of high stakes Texas Holdem tournaments featuring some of the world's best professional poker players. The EPT is Europes richest poker tour and is sponsored by Pokerstars. The EPT is also recorded and broadcast all over Europe, and the world.
The EPT was set up by John Duthie, who won the inaugural Poker Million tournament, in 2004. Now in its fourth season the show is commentated by Duthie himself. Th show is also co-hosted by Caroline Flack and Natalie Pinkham.
The EPT series visits some of the most famous Casinos in Europe including Casino Barcelona, Casino Copenhagen and Monte Carlo Bay Hotel & Resort. EPT season four will also be playing at Atlantis Resort and Casino, Paradise Island, Bahamas.
The EPT Season finale is the EPT Grand Final held at Monte Carlo Bay Hotel & Resort, Monte Carlo, MONACO, in April each year. The prize pool for this event in season three was over 6 Million with the winner, Gavin Griffin, taking home 1,825,010.
One point to note is that a WPT final table is made up of 6 players.
